Inflatable or compressible?

Air Head pillows inflate to four inches with a baffled chamber, weigh as little as 2.1 ounces and pack to the size of a fist, so they're the choice for backpacking. Compressible pillows are filled with upcycled foam from our sleeping pads; they're heavier but feel closest to a pillow at home, which makes them great for car camping, vans and travel.

Getting the most loft from a foam pillow

When your Compressible pillow arrives, unpack it and leave it open for a day so the foam recovers. Store it uncinched. The Compressible Cinch lets you pull the cord to adjust loft — tighter for side sleepers, looser for back sleepers.
